Photography

Since childhood I am interested in Nature, Biology and Animals and especially in the big Cats as seen here in the picture.

I have used every chance to go to the Berlin Zoo and I could spent hours and hours there to see the animals. Professor Heinz Georg Kloes was Director of the Berlin Zoo at that time. Since I could read I went through a lot of books  about animals and their behavior. I was impressed about Prof. Grizmek and how he saved the animals in the Serengeti and about Jaques Custeau, Prof. Hans Hass and Prof. Eibl - Eibesfelt trying to save the Maldives.

Inspired from these great researchers I wanted to become a Photographer and a Diver and see the World and I have done it.

1987 I became PADI Divemaster and I have done UW Photography in multiple countries like Spain, Egypt, Maldives, Thailand, Australia, Kenia and Mexiko.

In the 80ies I have done exhibitions of my pictures in the Hospital and all the patients did love the new decoration of the boring Hospital floors.

In the following years I was travelling to different countries attending Medical Conferences for Continouus Medical Education. I have used every opportunity to visit interesting places after the conferences to capture the beauty of Nature with my cameras. In the Picture Gallery I would like to share a few of my Photos with you.
